Discipling and Investing in the Next Generation
This morning we gather to reflect on a mission that lies at the very heart of our faith—a mission that is deeply woven into the fabric of the Church’s identity: the call to disciple the next generation.
This task may seem daunting, but it is essential. It is our heritage, our responsibility, and our privilege. As we look to the Scriptures, we see how Jesus Himself discipled and empowered young men who went on to change the world with His gospel. We see Paul mentoring a young Timothy, who continued to minister long after Paul’s death. And today, we are called to do the same.
The question before us is: What does it look like to invest in the next generation?
