Get to know where we have been and where God has taken us.

On August 4th, 2002 Doug and Sally Philips, along with a great team of friends, held the first CenterPoint Church service with a vision to reach different parts of Columbia and even the world through a culture of close fellowship with God and one another. As part of that vision, we launched our sister church, LegacyPoint, in 2015 to specifically minister within central Columbia. 

Pastor Michael Kauffman joined CenterPoint as the Children’s Pastor in 2013. Upon Doug’s retirement in 2019, Michael began to serve as Lead Pastor. 

While CenterPoint does not officially belong to any denomination or network, we maintain a good relational connection with many churches throughout Mid Missouri.
