We are drawn to mighty things and mighty people. We have a natural desire to experience power. As such, we experience God as the most powerful being in all the universe. God’s Kingdom is so powerful the gates of Hell cannot stand against it. And God often reveals this power through little things and little people. It is a great paradox; we typically experience the mighty Kingdom of God through things and people that appear to have little might. Today, we’ll see one such instance where our mighty God worked a mighty deed through little things and little people.
