Forgiveness is powerful. It’s something so needed and yet so foreign to so many of us. Many in our culture live life as if they could never forgive others, or, even worse, themselves. Yet, one of the core teachings of Jesus is that through him we have forgiveness. Because of God’s forgiveness, we are free. This is amazing! Yet, this is only the first step in following Jesus.
