As we close our series entitled, “Real Life, Real Prayers,” we have one final aspect of prayer to cover: why is it that when we pray God can seem silent and distant? One of the main barriers that keeps people from a vibrant prayer life is the subtle belief that God is silent. It might not be something we say, but most of us have felt that way at one time or another. So how should we respond? Where is God when he seems silent?
