As we finish our study today on the Book of Esther, we will be looking at the establishment of the feast of Purim. For almost 2500 years the Jews have remembered and celebrated their great deliverance from a planned genocide. It is an amazing story of the divine intervention of God to save His people.
Celebrating the works of God is an important practice for us as Christians. When we remember and celebrate the great things God has done in our lives and throughout history we build a legacy for generations to come. Today we are going to see just how important that is. Jesus Himself gave us one very special event to remember and to celebrate for the rest of time until He returns, and today we will celebrate that together.
