Come Holy Spirit!
. . . has been the phrase we have repeatedly used throughout August – September as the pastors have preached through selected passages in Acts. Luke, in his gospel, recorded Jesus’ words in Luke 24.49, “And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” How tragic for us if “Come Holy Spirit!” is only a phrase, to never receive “the promise”. How tragic indeed. This morning church, let’s believe that His “promise” will be ours. Come Holy Spirit!
I. The _________ of their _________ experience. (Acts 1.1-8)
II. The _________ of our __________ experience. (Acts 28.23-31)

Hey Doug Phillips, so blessed to listen to your sermon. Loved the story about sweet George from our time at First Baptist. So many wonderful memories of God’s amazing work at and through that church during those years.
Hope to catch up with you soon!!
