The Scriptures speak of a day of deliverance from bondage from the book of Genesis to the prophet Malachi.  We see a longing for freedom and the promise of a deliverer.  The New Testament reveals Him in the person of Jesus Christ, and He proclaimed the day of deliverance.  A dawn of liberty rose with Jesus from the grave and has marched through history setting captives free, changing people, changing nations.

Today we will be looking at the idea of liberty and how Jesus Christ is the only source of true freedom. “He whom the Son sets free is free indeed!”
