The Providence of God

The Providence of God_from the "Where is God in this Crazy World?" sermon series, Esther 3

The book of Esther is a beautiful picture of the ever-present providence of God in the affairs of people and nations. In today’s teaching we will see that in one of the darkest and most dangerous times in Israel’s history that God was an ever-present help. In the crazy world we live in God is never taken by surprise by the wickedness of men.  He is always watching over His people for their good, even when we can’t see it. Noah Webster defined “providence” as the care and superintendence which God exercises over His creatures.  A firm belief in that truth is a Christian’s foundation for peace in the midst of any storm.
