We live in a crazy world. One look at the news confirms this.  It can seem as if God is silent in the midst of great suffering that crosses this globe.  Many of us have gone through some incredibly difficult circumstances and wonder, “Where is God?”  What is God doing when he seems absent?

Today we’re beginning a series looking at the Book of Esther.  At first glance, it seems as if God is silent.  His name is not mentioned a single time!  But is God silent?  Or is he working great things through the lives of ordinary people?  Esther lived in a crazy world.  So do we.  Where is God in this Crazy World?  Let’s find out.
